Weekend plans include That Fish Place

I was trying to work in NCPARC's Frag Swap but since the main reason for the trip is the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, looks like the Swap is out. Oh well, always next year. But on the bright side, "That Fish Place" made the agenda! YEA!!!! HERE'S a map for anyone heading out that way next...

    Ozone & ASM Skimmers

Well, I have my controller set at 385 but the ORP stays at 410 consistently (per the meter). I have to check the calibration on it.

    Ozone & ASM Skimmers

Boomer provided a couple links to some good information and Chris Jury and Carlo posted some understandable explanations on ORP in this thread. HTH

    Ozone & ASM Skimmers

Not just Carlo! We have a couple real knowledgeable Chem guys hanging around the board lately and that topic can get real technical real quick. With Carlo more than capable of holding his own, and as JDeik said earlier, "Sharks are attracted to the splashing."

    Ozone & ASM Skimmers

I run Ozone through my ASM G-3 skimmer. After trying several different ways, the only way I was able to get rid of the smell was to attach the output of the generator directly to the air input of the skimmer. The skimmer draws all it air through the generator. Buy using an air pump (Coralife...

    Ph. vs. ORP

Just trying to do my part to keep the Chem-heads busy. ;D Thanks Carlo, will do. Ahhhhhh.....I've just been redirect and had my priorities adjusted for me. So no reading tonight. At least my hair won't hurt when I go to bed. LOL

    Ph. vs. ORP

Thanks guys, I briefly scanned both Boomers link and Carlo's info and plan on digging in tonight when I get home. Both appeared to be pretty well Chem-inept friendly. I will also check out/clean the prob when I put it in the ingenious styro probe float. My ORP was at 440 this morning. Although...

    Ph. vs. ORP

Curious, why dose it appear that Ph is practically inverse to ORP? It's pretty obvious on the Aqua Notes graphs. Also, my Ozone Generator doesn't come on for days. Is it possible for Purigen to keep the ORP between 380 and 410 on it's own? Thanks PS...Please be gentle all knowing Chem-heads...

How do I raise my Alk levels

Any chance we can wrap this ridiculous thread up anytime soon? It has long since past any usefulness to the majority of our members. I seriously doubt many if any will read through the never ending gibberish strun throughout the thread. I for one feel it's becoming an embarrassment not only for...
