Worse comes to worse, you can get a 1/4" npt tap, drill a hole and thread a JG fitting in. You can get the fittings at HD. You can usually get the tap and matching drill bit, in one package, at HD as well. Run the drill in reverse when drilling the hole and be sure to use Teflon tape on the fitting.

yea its select path, select tool, select surface. You can easily create a hollow pipe by off setting the outside circle 1/8th or so. Delete the inner surface. Select the surface between the two lines to extrude. Bang! Hollow pipe!

the cloudyness is normal, but I never had flakes. Was the amount of the Alk portion you mixed accurate as opposed to a guesstimate? You mixed the parts in their own container? Are you adding the Alk portion first? The reason I ask is the Ca may be percipitating.
