Zoo Dip
I've used it as a preventative treatment and never had a problem. Also remember to handle zoos with gloves and be careful. They are toxic.

Zoanthid Information
They grow like mad in my 55, but not the frag tank.
The 55 is a softie tank, moderate flow and skimming. DSB,running carbon, parameters are all to the lower ends of the normal range.
The two major differences in my display tanks compared to most folks is the VHO only lighting and I run temps...
T5's on a 1' deep tank is going to cook your shrooms.
I didn't notice the 1' the first time around. With that shallow a tank and focusing on zoas and shrooms I would go with VHO.
SPS would love the T5's on the other hand.
I recently setup a 30 gallon frag tank that has a little of everything in it. I had an icecap ballast handy so I decided to give T5's a try. As most of you know I'm the resident VHO only junkie, but I wanted to see what the new kids on the block are all about.
I setup to use 3x 39w T5's on the...
Glad everything is working out Phyl and John!
Thinking about recovery stories and the discussion about an emergency forum I was thinking maybe a sticky post of the basic steps of what to do in an emegency and links to good recovery stories might be helpful.
I have an Aqua C on my 55 and it works great. Aqua C's do seem to vary from unit to unit though, and you can find many posting on RC that they don't like them.
Coralife Skimmers can be tricky to dial in and you can get an occasional overflow. I've used both the CSS125 and the HOB version of the...
Reetank=headaches :o
many types of headaches in reefing
DSB=one type
BB=anohter type
pick the type of headache you like to manage
don't like headaches at all?

In ohther words, both systems can work, your choice...
Not bad as mine was a baby, only about a foot in length.
Then again, I made beer money when I worked in the pet shop by letting reptiles bite me for the amusment of others. :o
Not owned, but managed. Almost owned one in Somerville a few years ago.
I just did a quick scan on reg's, boy have things gotten more complicated since I ran a full line shop in the 70's and 80's!
European Hedgehogs require a $10 fish and game permit. Licensed pet stores will require you to...
What would this discussion be without me chiming in!
Just read my signature line.
And no, I didn't hear or see that speaker at the frag swap who had pictures of a bare bottom ocean! ;D
I spent a few very embarrassing hours in an emergency room on my 19th birthday after having been bitten by one. ::)
They were relatively new to the aquarium trade back in '72 and my father was afraid they might be venomous.
Had to get a tetanus shot and soak the bite in hot water.
And........... I think I have one in my softie tank. And I'm going to nuke it when I get the chance. ;D
Not sure about the CBB, except of course say good by to your worms. I wonder if Reefer Net's nudis' have a taste fot them?
Good luck!
Thanks Bob!
I really wanted to have a mass of waving Euphyllias growing together when I started out, but I was tempted by other things and received gifts and raffles that don't quite fit. The bubble, some blastos and the caps are taking a bit of a beating.
I was thinking of getting rid of the...
