best bet is to head to radio shack with the motherboard and 10 or 15 bucks.. those guys usually can do all kinds of crazy stuff..

OK so im about to break this light i have.. If anyone can measure their t5's width wise that would be great. I may be able to retro this light .. at $35 a pop this is the third 10000k to burn out in 2 months.

Updates.. picked up a 40 gal long sump (thanks Joe!).. going to use this as a sump only then use a 10 or bigger for a refuge just above it. i will have a t coming off he return pump trickling water into the refuge then gravity feeding the sump... Lighting.. I think that the light rail may be...

space heater or a electric radiant heater would probably be cheaper to run.. I mean if you are drying clothes then i would do that..

can you eliminate the dip in the tube? it will flow better with out that and could be your problem

do you have a standard return pipe or a Durso pipe? I think most people shoot for a return GPH of 5X your tank volume.. as long as your overflow can keep up with your return or vice-versa then you should be fine. check out below some links for you.. small discussion...
