I think at 12 inches high you are doing just fine. I start at 1% at 8:00 AM. They ramp up to 100% by 12:00 noon. Then they stay at 100% till 7:00 PM. They ramp down to 1% by 11:00 PM. LMK if you have any more questions. Sunny

I have double dosed H2O2 with out no issues. I don't think it matters how much rock is there and what amount of water is displaced. 110G total - go with 10 ml.

It is Dino. Dose hydrogen peroxide 1ml / 10 gallon each day for a week. It will take care of it.

The salinity is the most likely cause of the crash. If you added salt directly to the sump the salinity swing will kill everything.

Ed Lowes sells a attachments that fits in that hole perfectly and screws in. I use it on my skimmer. It is a barb hose type. Sunny
