I use Weldon #4 for water tight joints, #3 for regular joints, and #16 for boo boos.

How did you make the bends? Can you post progress picts? I've built a couple larger sumps and maybe able to help you out with suggestions.

I usually get my 1/4" stuff from homedepot unless it's something special. It's usually around $5 per sq.ft. The price you have listed is over $10 per sq.ft. A regular plastic place should be less than $5/sf. HTH

They are pineapple sponges. I get them on and off all the time. Harmless filter feeders. Do a search on RC to confirm. HTH

Bill, From what I understand. It uses the energy from the waste line to force more water threw the membrane. The pump actually stops the flow from the waste for a couple seconds then there is a surge in the product water when the waste starts again. Some how or another it's suppose to help...

All the waste is generated from the RO membrane. So RO only will generate as much waste as RO/DI. A few suggestions, which I have implemented, will reduce the rejection rate. Warm the water, booster pump, and permeate pump. I would guess I'm closer to a 1 to 1 ratio then a 2 to 1 at this point.

Nope......it would need hairy legs with one tooth for that. ;)

I use mostly Reef Crystals. Sometimes Tropic Marin Pro Reef but its real expensive.
