    ASM Vs. Euro-Reef

The ASM and Euro Reef use the same needle wheel pump and preform the same as far as I have read. Keep in mind, ASM over-rates their models a bit as far as which to use for which gallon tank. You get what you pay for as far as with the Euro Reef. Better quality materials (cell cast vs. extruded)...

    ASM Vs. Euro-Reef

I have the ASM G-3 with both the recirc and gate valve mod. The mods aren't absolutely necessary as it preforms quite well with out them. But now it does even better.

    where to get uni-seals??

This is what I mean by "straight in" I had to put an elbow at the end of my pump because of space.

    where to get uni-seals??

can be done real quick.....no charge if you bring it to me and buy the parts. I've already practiced on mine. We need to make sure how the pump is going to be angled. Look at www.asmskimmer.com. If you can go straight in with the pump then its a piece of cake. Also, how are you going to feed the...

    where to get uni-seals??

pipe seals  - catalog page -  3543 PVC gate valve - 398 - for the gate valve mod if you haven't done it - I highly recommend it! Can you go straight in with the sedra pump or do you have to use an elbow? I found the perfect elbow at lowes. Screws right into the sedra and slip fitting on the other.

Auto - waterchange, batch mixing, topoff

I'll get them posted as I put it together. The only odd-ball part would be the solenoid valve and that can be had at autotopoff.com (or something like that) for under $10 I think. The float switch (1 needed that I can see which I won at the MACNA raffle ;)) can be had at floatswitches.net. Other...

Auto - waterchange, batch mixing, topoff

I planed on setting the outlet of the Inline drum as high as possible to prevent the inline drums water from overflowing the sump and allow sediment more of a chance to fall out of the system water to the bottom of the drum for later removal to waste. I was even anticipating on using an upturned...
