15 gallons of Reef Crystals is $3.85. You'd have to live literally right next to the water (in which case, I hate you, *I* want a beach house!) or take 50-100 gallons at a time just to break even on gas. If I had a beach house, I'd have a permanent pipe out in the sea. It'd be awesome.

You should probably set your budget expectations a bit higher though. $2-300 won't get you much. Don't get the junior/lite version, that's a false economy, you should get the full version. $500 but will meet your needs, and grow.
