Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Actinic is mostly for looks... It makes the corals fluoresce. They use it, but not as efficiently as higher wavelength You'll notice the actinic bulbs are significantly lower PAR than white bulbs... The mix bulb gives some actinic and mostly daylight spectrum, probably a good bulb if it's the...
So I did finally get an alert from Seneye, but it went into my spam (gmail)... So they should probably work on making their alerts look less spammy, but that's minor. The alert was that my slide was about to expire... That's cool, it came up a few days before expiration, so I had time. But once...
iPhone pics, imperfect. Tang is a pretty, pretty fish. Good thing it's a big tank though, total bully!
Frags aren't anything crazy, two encrusting, two plating montis, two staghorns. The others are previous acquisitions that I haven't yet decided on their permanent locations.
Really glad I...
Yeah, I appreciate you opening the dialog with them. I had already found the trim setting in the current release, though I didn't quite trust it (says he temperature is too low even after trimming). Glad to hear a new release is on the horizon.
Nice meeting you, tang seems to be doing great! I stopped at Tropiquarium before heading back up north, great store. They had some BTAs, but didn't try to sell them since they'd bleached. That's always a good sign, when the animals' health is the priority! Bought six frags to make the trip...
I'm going to run that by her in a few minutes. If you don't hear from me in a few days, please notify the authorities!
But seriously, I might be able to head down tomorrow morning, as she's meeting a friend for brunch.
That's how one would win ME over, not sure about my lady... She's quite fit (though I do think she appreciate a good pie)
But seriously, would like this little fishie. Any chance of a meet-in-middle opportunity?
Yeah, I don't think the temperature warning is due to being close to the threshold, pH does the same thing:
The sensor is in my DT, back wall. It gets decent flow there, heaters and all that sort of fun are far away. Their algorithms are just wrong. You can tell their whole site was developed...
Their site/service leaves a lot to be desired right now (fixable though):
As mentioned, alerts don't seem to be firing correctly
'Trending' logic is totally flawed. Here's an example:
So, 2 weeks of data there, where the temperature is incredibly stable (2 degree difference between highest and...
Third result on a fresh browser with no tracking cookies. Still cool!
Also, re dosing, when the power went out last Friday, it scrambled my Apex, so my doser ran for a couple hours before I noticed. Probably dropped about 100 ml, pH was temporarily down a half point! No visible damage to...
I like it as a PAR meter. The broken alerting they can fix. Their site got noticeably faster a day or two ago, so things are hopefully improving! For $200, it's worth it for the meter.
