Anyone here have experience with generators and running our tanks off them? I was without power for 2.5 days. I had a 4000/3250 watt generator running, but it would have trouble running the three tiny pumps in my 10 gallon. Sometimes it would work and then the pumps would just stop working...

Gas generator is the best purchase I've ever made for my tank. And it is powerful enough to run my tank, refrigerator, a lamp, and TV and cable box.

I haven't used or purchased test kits in many many years. Is Salifert still the way to go? Are the Hanna Ammonia checkers any good? Thanks in advance.
