Hey Jeff - Sounds like a nice plan. I often think about doing the same by adding a tank in our living room. Just imagine a tank full of funky looking (yet hardy) fish and not have to worry about calcium levels etc. I say go for it. Your family may enjoy it more. I know mine would.

I agree Magdrives can be hit or miss, although I have found as of late that I have had better overall luck with them then Quiet One. It seems whenever I have even slight encrusting the Quiet Ones stall and then burn out. I believe it is critical to clean internal pumps frequently. I have let...
