Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Re: Ne w here.
LOL at the yellow clownfish. Too funny. Probably quite immune by now. Isn't nature amazing.
Great looking enchino, Gene. Thanks for posting the picture of it. Very nice photos, as usual.
2089?! LOL. If you can talk them into a booth, I'm all for it.
I think they should start a bit smaller though. Like our swap in October: http://www.njreefers.org/fragswap
Talk them into a booth there for 2008!
Oh if you find a group buy on some extra hours of sleep, I'm ALLL in! I've been missing some lately.
Glad to hear everything is doing well, in spite of the near collision between the anemone and the Seio. And the wires. And the nipping clown... Sounds like you could use a cold tasty adult beverage.
Re: Ne w here.
Welcome back, Gene! Glad to see you on this side of the fence.
The deep color of the anemones in that tank are nothing short of stunning. What is the blue mountain in the bottom right third of the SPS dominated tank?
Now show off those butterflies...
Baltimore is one of the nicer aquariums I've been to (but then I haven't been to Georgia). If you're going to go (especially on a weekend) be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Your ticket will be for a specific entry time as well as a time to see the Dolphin show. When I took the kids...
Be sure not to use soaps or cleansers in your "power washing" if you go that route.
I'd personally just use a clean nylon scrub brush on it under some tank water. The red slime should actually rinse off rather easily.
We need the admissions paid by May 21 for anyone who is going to be getting the discount tickets. Please make sure to RSVP and pay by Wednesday if you plan on attending so that we can include you in our head count.
