Hey, I started this about a month ago now. I'm using Chris Meckley's method from ACI.. Basically, dose Kalk according to your pH to try and keep it stable. Alk will bounce around for the first week or two, but it'll stabalize with a result in overall higher pH on average

i've been told lanthanum chloride (Phosphate-e) is bad for your tank. it binds to rocks and contains some pollutants that you can detect from ICP tests

In a 90g system, I've got 2 gyres flowing from both ends, running opposite one another + in reverse. MP40 and Nero 3 on the bottom. I have torches in the tank that gets good motion. I'm getting my orphek lens todya for my phone so i can share some pics!
