I had a clam a couple of years ago that had pinched mantel, I did the freshwater dip and followed the directions to the T within 24 hours the clam was dead. Anything I have tried doing a freshwater dip on died.... I do not believe in that type of treatment for any...

it will damage the powerheads and void your warranty. There has been some people that used them on seio controllers, you can slow them down, they can't be turned on and off, but it will still void the warranty if they do break.
The only thing I'd recommend you do is raise your mag to 1350-1400, once you get your mag level stable your calc and alk should stabilize also. For your calc level your alk/DKH is perfect. If you raise your alk higher your PH may drop more. PH of 8.0 or 8.1 is fine there is no need to raise that...
your calcium and alk is a little low, it needs to be stable cal. 400-450 and alk 8-9 that could have been just one reason, another could be chem war with your softies.
Mike that's RTN, list every test result including salt, nitrate, phos, ammo, temp and the ones Wendy listed. RTN can be caused by many differant things.
I didn't get them :'( I already have 2 pairs (blacks and percs) in my 120 and a mating pair in my 80, I just setup my 29 gallon again and when it's stable I'll be getting a pair of grade A's from him.
