That's natural for a leather. They get a coating on them then it sheds off. Part of their growing process.

I ordered a granite counter top that matches the brown and black perfect.

After building the cabinets, heres a few details I've been working on so far. Hopefully I can finish them up this week.

I tried my hand at cabnet making the last 2 weeks. The new owner wanted plain cabnets but something different to contrast her black appliances. I'm still working on thoughts on more detail.
