This really is a great group!
We don't have accents the rest of you do!! ;D
;D
I saw the thread where you put it together, so I knew you did the content yourself, I was just looking for a good place to pick one of those TT displays up. Looks like it would come in handy.
All of next...
I love that tabletop display that you did for CZ. Did you find someplace to get a good deal on one or did you pay retail for the setup? Looks really nice. You headed up to MACNA?
He's been in the hobby a LONG time. It just reminds us all that we need to be SUPER diligent on what we put into our systems, making sure to check for pests along the way.
Just to clarify this, all Moderators have had a chance to review the post. We do precious little around here without moderator concensus. We certainly appreciate your good intentions, but this isn't the way to go about things.
Looking forward to meeting you at an upcoming meeting!
Probably have pics up tomorrow. It's still a bit shell shocked from the commute. With the NJRC member discount it crept up on my price range enough to make me dive for it! About the diameter of a large grapefruit. Very nice BRIGHT addition to the tank!
and picked up the MOST STUNNING Oxypora I've ever seen! WHOAH! It is such a bright red color. I haven't started taking pictures of it yet... it still needs to settle in a bit.

Aaahhhh, the good ol' AA days (no, not that AA people... I know what you're thinking)!
Good to see you here. Thanks for the banner exchange. We appreciate the help in getting the word out about the swap. Congratulations on your successful community. I love being able to say "I knew him when"! ;D
Wish I had an extra one around for ya Steve, I'd lend it to you (or house your stuff for ya) if I could! You could use a couple of brute cans instead. Sounds like you're on your way to a solution, harsh as it is.
ASM skimmers are great in-sump skimmer with excellent feedback. I know Billy swears by his. Just go one up from where your tank volume is. So if based on your volume you'd need a G2 then go with the G3.
Sorry about the colony. I've heard about certain batches of bad Alk tests from Salifert, maybe you can find info on the bad batch numbers? I've always used them and haven't had a problem with them (yet).
For a closed loop you would have water coming out of the tank (via one or more outlets), returning back to the tank via one or more outlets. Billy has 2 closed loops running back to probably 6 holes in the front of his tank (take a look at his thread to get a count).

Mojanos need to be scraped from the rock, as best I can tell. Aptasia try a handful of peppermints (like 12 of them). Flatworms you can either freshwater dip the rock or dip it in high concentration of FWE.
Hang in there, Steve. You can beat it. Might mean breaking it apart to do a deep clean...
