Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Paul, buying a Chinese-made phone just doesn't seem to fit your American-Made persona. I did a search for you and found an American made phone just for you....and doesn't need a teenager to show you how to use it!
:oops::oops::oops::oops::oops::oops:
Home Depot....and what do you mean by rigid....like the tubing on our RO/DI units? Either way, HD has all different OD/ID plastic tubing. I buy the large roll because it's the same tubing on the sliding board on my pool.
I rec'd a PM that stated dogs snd cats would be exempt. In looking back at the Act I've found contradicting verbage. Some say dogs and cats are included while others state they're exempt. All other pets would be included....birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc. Either way, my kids had...
Hard to believe this amendment (as written) will ever go through. It includes transporting any of your pets....yes, that includes Muffy and Butterball....crossing State lines. That would be illegal. :oops: So no vacations out of state with your pets. And if you move out of State...
Bob, thanks for the heads up. I'm in need of salt, and an unnamed LFS in north Jersey use to have IO for $35 for 200g box. When I call they told me it's now 55. Even though Something Fishy is a drive for me, buying 5 or 6 boxes makes it worthwhile. Thanks again.
The best way would be a wet saw....either a bandsaw such as a Gryphon or a table saw, such as a tile saw.
Second best would be a 4 1/2 grinder with a diamond blade (ca $20-25) or a Dremel with a diamond cutoff blade. The one potential issue with the Dremel is that it might not cut all the way...
If I didn't already have these exact two tanks, I'd be snatching them up in a New York minute. As far as storage, I keep mine outside behind my back fence....for the last ten years or so...and that's not an issue. I'm sure you can find a spot to keep them....under a deck, behind a fence...
My guess is too much suction. Here's my setup of Pump, Pipe and Hose. Originally used the Python hose, but it was too long and eventually went with this short section of hose. Use the pump to empty 25 gallons into a 32 gallon Brute....and then use the pump to pump fresh saltwater back into...
Most definitely. For the longest time I started the siphon on my Python by submerging the first 2-3 feet into the tank and then pinching the tubing and quickly pulling out the tubing, leaving the open end under water. I do 25 gallons on a water change and got too impatient waiting for the...
Great post Paul. A deja vu moment for me. Growing up we had milk (in glass bottles), beer, seltzer and potato chips and pretzels delivered to the house, with the empties picked up to be washed and refilled.
My comic book collection was from perusing the neighborhood and collecting...
Here's a list of "peppermint" shrimp. They all supposedly eat aiptasia, but the best bet is with "A". Also, the Camel Shrimp has been mistaken as a peppermint. I'll see if I can find a picture of a camel.
Yep, looks to be a standard 120mm x 25 mm computer fan, the most common fan used in LED lights. I typically buy a multi-pack because it's a common replacement item. HERE is but one example from eBay.
Can't vouch for the plug in because I always cut and solder the wires.
