Thanks so much for the rock.
If anyone is thinking of a powder blue this guy is I think the nicest one that I have seen period fat as a cow. Great deal you won't find a nicer one.
They should all be small so skimmer shouldn't be an issue. ...have to ask asonitez about the treatment you are using if it is OK or not as I am not that familiar with it. How long you can run it etc.
I have always added fish sorta willy nilly, when I can I put I put tangs in together keeps them from argueing. You just don't want to add the little guys after the big ones.
Are you trying to add them to the tank while you are treating it as a way to QT them? If so than maybe just get them...
I would put the tangs in together probably after the other fish but just not before others.
I would get a orchid dottyback not a purple.
This one.

Welcome...great community to start here.
Two things I would do one become a paying member; our for sale forum and our group buy forum are there. Two read as much as you can of other peoples threads and steal as many ideas as possible.
I am sure there are some even larger than 40 gallon...
I used flat pieces sort of looked like star destroyer pieces of rock that I used for a bridge but my tank is only 4ft .... I tried to use one of the tonga pieces that way too now it is sticking up with zoas growing on it and I like it better. Maybe you can just have some flat pieces in the back...
Ironically your islands are similar to mine, though you did one thing better than I did which was move them towards the back.
Two thoughts you have some nice tonga rock ...think is on the right side...saw it better in your old pics....try to make use of it.
Move the mountains as far back up...
I say go with the bigger one unless the cost of running it is something that would impact you...skimmers run constantly so makes a difference.
A Sea Clone Skimmer is rated at 100 Gallons. :hopelessness:
In a 120 I have a desjardini and a yellow belly hippo, I have always had a pair of tangs but one was always a hippo. The other either a naso or desjardini, and I have to say I have loved both those two. Hippo's are pansies.
2 clowns, orchid pseudochromis and his pal a starry blenny go figure...
