Nice! That is the exact tank I started with! Just the Chinese Shin Mao version. I didn't like leaving the space at the top tho, I used a surface skimmer so I could fill it up. Looking good! I might stay away from Xenia though, unless you want your tank covered with it, that stuff is like a weed!

I don't know that I see a problem with that. If the person so obviously cares nothing for the welfare of those fish, I wouldn't suggest any other animals to them. Just me though...

I used a Sicce Syncra on my last tank and it was a great pump. I am setting up a tank with a Diablo DC 10500. Supposed to be a great pump from what I have read. Will let you know once it's up and running.

I remember that 60 cube at OG!! I really liked that tank.... I had rock in the rear chamber of my AIO and I have to say it was nothing but a pain. Taking it all out to clean in there, rescuing the occasional fish from it.... Just much easier to leave the rock in the DT IMO.
