It's my one hour of adult programming a week LOL (well ocassionaly Hero's when I remember to watch it)
I absolutely loved the show when it started, lately it's getting fairly cheesy and seems like the writers either lost their way (pun intended) or have no idea where they are going with it...
Yikes, that bad eh?
We didn't end up going because I wasn't feeling great. My daughter is only 3, and as she told me a few nights ago when I was apparently boring her talking about our fish "um mama, I don't really like fish" LOL LOL LOL
I'm pretty sure aquatic obsessons had them this afternoon (I didn't look really closely as I just got one myself from a fellow reefer this past week) but if that's what they were, they were a really good price. Trop has them for a insane amount.
Small but great store, went above and beyond for a <$5 fish for me. All the tanks looked clean and well cared for, fish all looked healthy and I was surprised to see such a selection. Even had black clowns for a great price, and boxing crabs (which I don't think I've ever seen in person before)...
well there is nano-reef.com (where I learned SO MUCH before setting up my 24g aquapod) but I think we should have a nano forum here as well, I LOVE my aquapod :)
That would be my guess too, or maybe #1 had a spot right in the center of his back that he just couldn't reach with a crazy itch and #2 was being a good buddy and helping him out? hehee
Greg: I'm not sure if I'd ever buy a SW fish from them, although as Treadingwater said (sorry don't knwo your real name) very frequently what I've seen in their SW selection actually does look far healthier then what I've seen at some LFS... I think it really depends on how quickly after they...
I can't remember what they were called but I remember someone on nano-reefs.com talking about them awhile ago... said they usually end up disappearing almost as fast as they came and never caused problems, I agree they are kind of neat looking... you could probably sell them as "exotic macro...
kathainbowen: Thank you for the laugh and huge smile you put on my face, and for making me feel better.
I was honestly shocked that anyone would be offended or think poorly of me for anything I had typed here. Truth be told my husband and I share this laptop, he is often next to me when I'm...
LOL I hear you, I had my 2 cats, nutty dog, and 3 yr old to contend with but thankfully the tank was a cube so no worries of it knocking over. I doubt anyone will notice when it's full, and if they do tell them to get to scraping ;)
A wise member mentioned to me that I might be alienating myself in this male dominated hobby by complaining/bashing my husband in a few of my threads. I wanted to apologize if I've offended anyone, it was never my intent to "bash" my husband, sure I wish he shared my interest in tanks/fish...
I think I left mine on it's side soaking for about 4 hours all together. Still didn't get it all off, so really just depends how badly it bothers you as to how much effort you should put into removing it.
let us know how it turns out, when I used the kent scaper (I kept scraping at it every 1/2 hour or so) you could actually feel where the haze still was and where it was gone... helped to know how long to soak.
why is it that whatever zoa eating critter is terrorizing your tank only goes after your prized zoas and nothing ever touches those brownish pink or brownish green ones you got as a freebie when you first started?
Went there a few months ago, not to knock it as it was cute... but I think I enjoyed visiting your living room and looking at your tanks more ;)
Hoping the Camden one has more of a "wow" factor (plus Aliya is begging to see jelly fish, I think they have a display)
Nothing will probably ever...
