Its definitely cheaper to make your own seafood mix. If you shop around and find a good price on things like fish and clams. It doesn’t take much to make a whole lot.

Homemade mix of pre-made product. I have a belief that nobody fully knows exactly what every coral eats. So I like a mix of different particle sizes and variety of ingredients. I don’t know if it’s any better or if I’m wasting my time. But it gives me peace of mind and corals look dang good

Morning routine for me is fairly simple. Check all tanks for top off, look and listen for anything out of the ordinary. Check the simple stuff like ph and temp readings and of course skimmer. Every third day I Broadcast feed the coral. I don’t feed the fish in the am because they are sleeping...

Honestly. I would not consider painting it. Because you will likely be putting frags in and out which will ware the paint and expose white And lawnmowers can definitely lift and where thru paint.
