They're definitely not cheap. It took me a little while to pull the trigger but I'm happy I did. It's well built and puts out a good amount of light for its size.

I believe that reefbrite sells a dimmer for the strips. If you look back a bit in the thread I have some pictures with just the reefbrite on so you get an idea what it looks like. If you're just looking for a nice moon light effect I think a regular one would be fine. With 8 bulbs it would be...

Yup it's the nauti spiral. When it's happy it's gorgeous, but it seems very tempremental. I try not to even look at it wrong. Haha

The sand bed is finally starting to clear up from a bad diatom breakout. Not 100% sure what caused it.

My newest project. It will be mounted on the wall under my new tv in the living room. It will hold the cable box and a few other things. I'll try to get some Pictures after I mount it.

Also try not feeding for a few days before trying the traps. This way the fish is hungry when the food goes in the trap and more eager to go after it.
