    Inherited 90

Interesting. I'm curious to hear the results. When I was running biopellets they were not kept in the dark and worked pretty well. Maybe send a pm to Jon Warner and pick his brain a bit. He seems very eager to help and discuss biopellets.

If you're going to use pocket screws you can easily get rid of the green 2x4's if not they are needed to fasten the purple 2x4's toand hold them in place, the purples are what is actually holding the weight.

    DSA 135....

Glad to see some progress! And as for the overflow plumbing, you should easily be able to build it with simple loses/Home Depot plumbing parts.

You can change the time zone in your preferences. This fixed the issue for me.

I wouldn't mind seeing recent posts on the home page either. I think it makes things a bit easier to navigate.

It does show 2x6 on top in that picture, but with a 48" tank 2x4 will be fine. Anything over 48" I would use 2x6

    Flooring/carpeting - anyone involved?

Agreed. If you're fairly handy it's not a very "hard" thing to do. You can rent a flooring Nailer by the day. I also would help out if I was a little closer. Most hardwood installers will get between $2.00 and $2.50 a square foot. You can save a decent amount of money doing it yourself if possible.

This is the design I have always followed. It's nice and simple and holds a ton of weight.

    Kschweers rebuild. 57g rimless

Last night I went to change the last 2 bulbs in my fixture (2 blue+) but unfortunately one wouldn't fire. I put the old bulb back in and it works just fine. I figure I just got a bad bulb. I have been through quite a few t5 tubes and have never had this happen. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
