I managed to get a couple of pics last night of the BTA piece that I got from Bill (Rbu1) this past Sunday. Within 4 minutes of being placed, "Mator" went up to the BTA, nudged it with its nose and dove right in. Seems pretty happy to me.

I have one of those tube worms that happened to spring up right in the middle of a red mushroom patch and those strings get all over the place and make the shrooms close up. Those strings sometimes get a foot or so in length at times so it might be possible that there may be one of those in there.

Now that you mention it... I havnt noticed any real growth out of the finger leather either, just more polyp extension.

Can't compete with the older ones. My DSB came from a friend that has had his 120 running at least when I met him (4 years ago) and I've had mine running for a little over a year now. So that makes mine at least 4 years.

I think it's one of those "What works for one might not work for another" type of thing. Not everyone with DSB's have nitrate problems.

Sorry to hear that. What happened?? I know how you feel though. I lost just about everything at once over Christmas.....tank crash.

I just took some pics of it as closed as it can get. However, the mini USB cable for the cam is at work so I wont be posting until tomorrow.

I supposed I could tap it lightly to see if it closes. Will try in a few because the lights will be fading soon.
