Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I had a blast and Ken really was excellent. It was interesting seeing him several years apart as the presentation has changed and his methods have changed. He spoke about how the SPS grew 3-4 times faster when suspended than on a frag plug. I think there will be a group buy soon for fishing line.
Rain down here. The forecast calls for 1-2 inches of snow where the meeting is and switching over to rain. I will be in attendance, Nikki is feeling under the weather so she is out.
If you are going to use a ton at once the ecotech is the way to go. It is the best glue however it hardens in the bottle and becomes useless if you let it sit around too long. We use ic gel and have been using it for years. Seems like a good middle ground.
The coral itself is not toxic, but like the above posters said they can have things on them. Also if a fragment get into your skin it can cause an infection.

I have a coupon code kicking around here somewhere that gives 10% off as well, drop me a pm if you are interested. They are 15 now, but still pretty cheap.
I just ran downstairs and fired these pics off too, the glass wasn't even really clean and I did not position...
I had some corals delivered today and they missed the courier so they sat at Fedex until I went and got them. They were fine as they were packed well and held inside the facility so they were not out in the cold.
Where did you order zoas from?
I became a backer for Easy Macro over on kickstarter and got it in yesterday and figured I would play around with it. This is essentially a lense on a rubber band that goes around your Iphone and gives you macro like photos. I figured for 10 bucks why not?
Pros: Takes pretty good macro style...
