Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Bax, I was thinking of going over Sunday. I can pick up what you're after if you want. I'm pretty sure he's close to us.
Nick, Can you PM me your address? I would like to come over and take a look and pick some stuff.
Thanks, Jonathan
Bax, You probably mean like the manifold that you gave to us with the 30 sump right? That thing was a beast and it would be nice to have extra outlets available too. I was planning on a powerhead or 2 also. Everyone talks up the Vortechs and they are awesome but it's hard for me to justify...
I never really looked into the Sicce pumps. From what I see, they really aren't expensive compared to the Mags but they seem to be better. Now, which one would I use? 951gph or 1321gph? I would always have gone with the bigger and just dialed it back if need be.
Bax,I will look into the other pumps you mentioned. As far as a skimmer I have yet to decide. I have been looking around and haven't had any luck yet. I am actually looking into fixtures like Feng's but my problem is with the center brace. I would need 2 and not only is that pretty expensive but...
Anyone got a spare PO4 reactor laying around? Don't necessarily need the pump but it would be much easier. Tubing and everything would be helpful too. It turns out my PO4 is back with a vengeance (tested it at .52 last night). I think my Montis may be toast but I relocated the other SPS to CJ's...
So I have seen both Percula and Ocellaris Picasso Clowns. Any way to tell the difference between the 2? I read about the differences between the normal ones but not so sure if they would be as apparent in a Picasso.
Anyone ever try to mix a Perc and an Ocellaris?
Was the light on your 275? How many inches is it? I'm sure it isn't 36" because I need one and I'm not that lucky....
Hmmmmmm might also be able to use some rock too. May have to come down for a visit.
