I don't know how they do it! I ordered an eBay "Chinese" LED fixture that arrived today. I'm impressed! It's sold as 165 W, but that is the mathimatical sum of 55 LEDs that are rated at 3 W each. Actually they are run at about 2 W, for about 120 W total. HERE is the eBay link...

Rob, I'm liking that overflow.....it's now my favority after the Glass-Holes. I really like the very small footprint inside the tank. Still don't understand those behemoth corner overflows that are so typical in off the shelf tanks. Just too big. I also like the view of the garage...

I have read success stories with Tech M.....and it has to be Tech M. Simply raising your magnesium with other brands, for some reason, doesn't have the killing effect Tech M has on Bryopsis. Best of luck.

It will eat your inverts and fish, unless extremely well fed. I'm also going to assume this is a baby purple, because if I'm not mistaken, they grow to about a foot and a half long. That 28 gallon just might be a touch too small.

+1 This is exactly how Glass-Holes instructs you on installation of their overflow....right up to the plastic trim. Also, I would definitely make a drilling guide out of scrape plexi/plywood/MDF or whatever you have laying around.

What overflow did you get? If it's a 1500 gph Glass-Holes, I have a template.
