Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Once you're a member you'll be able to put pictures in your gallery. Until then you'll need to load them externally and link to the image with the format.
If you need further help with it PM me! Looking forward to seeing pics. GH... I haven't seen your bio up there yet!
Bwahahaha GH... C'mon, everybody wants a piece! Glad you like it though.
Here are some of the close ups of the pieces that will be for sale:

Picked up a clam from Christi on RC. It is my first (awww) and I'm looking for info on caring for them, placement, where should the mantle go? Do you/can you feed them at all? Anything else I need to know?
Thanks!
Definitely in time for the Meeting at the end of the month, maybe sooner. There are a large number of baseball to small-head-of-broccoli sized corals to be sold.
Marcelo,
We'll happily put you on the list of folks who are interested in a nice HUNK of purple nana! I hear it calling your name (*marcelo* *marcellllooooooooOOOooooo*)... Membership has its benefits! First dibs and discounts for members on coral purchases from the club! ;D
The meeting is getting pretty close. I'm surprised that I haven't heard a word about frag trading...
I have a Frogspawn head, a 2 head Candy Cane that broke off in an avalanche and a Killer Kenya Tree (3" tall with 4 or 6 branches; eats SPS for lunch). I also have some Xenia that I could prune...
They're gorgeous, Merv! That's awesome. Gotta love the new cam.
We were hoping to be able to put up pricing with the colony photos/descriptions/sized... but we'll post some of the fun pictures from the unload soon!
I treated my brand new (Absolutely Fish purchase went straight into QT) purple tang for ich with hyposalinity.

I did it in a 15g QT that I put about 20# of base rock into. The base rock took a while to kick in (so I was doing...
Just realized the thread was locked. It wasn't done on purpose so I've opened the thread back up for comments.
I was asked where the corals came from. The corals came from a hobbyist in Northern Maryland who is breaking down his tank. This stuff is awsome. Wait until you see it!

Great questions, Grasshopper.
The officers were presented with an offer on Monday that we discussed and voted on; this is how it has been done in the past and in accordance with our bylaws (adapted from the Boston Reef Society; hopefully these will go up for review by the membership by next...
365 miles, 50 gallons of water, 2 five gallon buckets and one five foot cooler later I'm home and I'm one tired momma! I'm sure by the time the Llama makes it home he's going to be pretty pooped too.
During this exciting adventure, the club has procured some really GREAT corals. As a result we...
Seemed hard to believe that the hippo looked so good but the yellow looked starved. Glad to hear that it is just new. It was just such a sad picture to see with the rib bones sticking out like that. It will be fun to see her/his picture again in a month to see how much fatter it is. Mine is a...
