Was looking at the tank thinking that I needed a bit more "height" on the left side. About a week later Scott at alternative reef posted up some magnetic frag stations and I picked one up. Came in today and I am really happy with it. Here's a quick (terrible as usual) picture. Should look...
Everything looks great. Loved the slide show. I was extremely tempted to buy one of those frag tanks at the swap and when they put them on r2r. Kinda kicking myself for not pulling the trigger. Can't wait to see it set up.
This plus reefbrite is going to be releasing new fixtures with t5's and their leds in them. You can see them in the wwc coral farm thread. Saw them briefly at the dvrc swap Saturday. Think they will be out early 2015.
If it was the actual corner I believe it was "fins aquatics". He was directly in the corner next to Gotham. He was a really nice guy with a beard. Had a few nice carpet nems.
Cornbread has listed a few as well. First one went for $430 and the newer ones are listed buy it now for $999.99. Very cool looking acro but way out of my price range.
Welcome. This is definitely a great place to learn. There are a lot of knowledgeable reefers here. Start a "tale of the tank" thread or a thread with your questions I'm sure you will get the answers you are looking for.
If it's been in the brute for that long with no light there's a good chance the Dino's have died out. I would use a small pump/powerhead to blow off the rocks a few times before doing a waterchange on the brute.
That's the coloring of the rock some may have a bit of real coraline but most of the purple is fake. I agree that the coraline needs to be introduced some how.
