Take a look at the spectrapure refurbished units on their website. It's around $120 for the 90gpd. Spectrapure makes some of the better units on the market. I would stay away from the rodi buddy.

I would try removing the nipple you have on the end going into the sock. It looks as if it is reducing it some.

+ 1 also make sure you are using primer and the pipes are completely dry. If it's a slow leak check out the link I posted earlier. HD or any irrigation supply should have them

Another option is these but again no guarantee. If it were my tank I would replace it...

Dan. Cut it out and replace it. That is going To be the only guaranteed fix. If you don't fix it correctly now it likely won't be done and will cause you headaches from here on out. For a temporary fix that tape is ok but not for the long term.

I personally wouldn't use it if it's been sitting a long time open. But if you rinse it really well I would say you should be ok.

You can do some a little bit of sand and a bit of rock. I would get some small pieces and do a simple scape so it doesn't look like you just threw the rock in there. A nice mix of macro algae would be cool. Mix colors some cheato, red gracilaria (doubles as tang food they normally love it)...

I would recommend it without a doubt. I have seen them in others tanks and they look great once they get some color. After handling it and seeing the build quality I like it even more.

It was $75. Holds 13 frag plugs. The quality is great. The magnet is super strong, I put it in place and wanted to slide it a bit to where I wanted it and there was no budging it. I had to separate the magnet to get it to move.
