Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The change in temp may have caused it to close up. I have kept xenia at 74 with no trtouble, but depending on how quickly the temperature dropped, it may have casued it to close up.
No, put the seal in first. Make sure you drill the right size hole. It will seem a little loose, but once the pipe is in, it will tighten right up.
Like I said earlier, be sure to bevel the end of the pipe and lubricate it to make it easier sliding in.
Once you get the uniseal in place, put a cap or ball valve on the pipe and fill it with fresh water to se if it leaks. I would use just plain tap water instead of wasting salt or RO water.
No problem, Gabe. I'm not sure if you can run 6 bulbs off the 660 ballast, but I would run 2 ballasts. 2 ballasts would allow you to run your actinics seperately from your daylight bulbs. 1 ballast will fire all the bulbs at one time.
I would go with a 6 x 39w Tek T5 fixture.
For bulbs, I would say 2 Geisman Actinic+. 2 Current USA 10K and 2 GE 65K. That should give you the ability to keep just about anything you want.
I have the 4x39W on my 70 and I am keeping softies and LPS with no trouble. I tried SPS but they don't...
