Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The Windex is to lubricate the pipe so it slides through the Uniseal easier. I found that plain old saliva works just as well and it won't harm the tank.
Also another trick when using the Uniseals is to bevel the edge of the pipe before you push it through, this will make it a litle easier and...
The trumpet and frogspawn don't even ned to be glued. You can just set them in a crevice in the rock work. But yes the polyps do have to be up so they can get the light.
The zoas can be glued to a plug or a small piece of rock, just make sure the polyps are also facing up.
Man that is one awesome chiller and a mean arse looking skimmer. Can't wait to see this bad boy in person.
What will your total system size be with the new tank?
Thanks Eric and Michelle for the great time we had today. Your hospitality was top notch and greatly appreciated.
Tha tanks looked fantastic, even the FW.
Not a problem either way. I can wait a few extra days to hook it up if need be. Stupid me didn't order calibration fluid so I have to get that first anyway.

Sorry guys, but I am gonna have to pass at this time. I just had to do some unexpected repairs on the truck so needless to say, the finances just aren't there for this.
As long as it is a non-game species and there are no limits in place you can collect and keep it.
Anything collected from our waters this time of year is a temperate animal and will not live long term at reef temps. Most won't make it more than a few months. If you can keep your temperatures...
Sounds like that should work. Or you can put them in the tupperware with some rubble and fasten a piece of netting over the top. This will allow for more flow yet still keep them contained to the tupperware until they attach.
