Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I have not used one up yet and I don’t use your model. But based on present rate I would guess I can make around 1500 gallons but is just a guess as I have not had to change it yet
The down fall is you don’t know what that 20 is composed of. For example if you have copper pipes. It could be copper. And that’s sure death for many marine animals
Something must be wrong. If you have (IF). Real high water pressure then you probably tore the RO membrane. Because you can’t exhaust the DI resin that fast. As an example. I have a made roughly 500 gallons possibly more and still have 3/4 of my resin left I think first step is to install a...
One more thing. Was just studying your pictures. Looks like your RO line is simply running into your water container. Is your float mounted. Or dare I say... floating :)
The distance is definitely not an issue as far as high pressure. That’s unlikely. But need to know the following.
.
1. Are you using a pressure pump on your RODI
2. Do you know your house water pressure
I am prety sure if you had enough pressure to force the float open. Your RO system would...

There are three stages to everything
1. Cheap
2. Quality
3. Fast
At any one given time you can only have two of these things. Trust me. If you want something that is cheap and of good quality. It takes time. If you...
britewell factor 7 and doctor Tim’s are well known and tested. Britewell is much cheaper
I leave shrimp in for two plus weeks until it starts to break up. Also if you put carbon in the sock with the shrimp there will be no smell.
I phantom feed during the whole cycle and yes after the cycle is...
Awesome. That added beneficial bacteria really helps. Best of luck. Please keep in mind that when a tank is first cycled. It is on the edge of a crash. As time goes on the bacteria population grows and grows. So be patient and add fish slowly. And corals even slower. In time the bacteria load...
