No offense intended to anyone. But listen to Diana. Her advice is always sound and spot on. I would guess she speaks with considerable experience. Either way. I watch all threads and have never disagreed with anything even remotely that she has posted.

How much sand do you need. I have maybe 15 pounds of Fiji pink. That has never seen water if you like that and it is enough you may have it.

I’m not positive but I would think if the rock was live it’s possable. But again I’d wait till others chime in who have had to deal with them. I honestly don’t know if they actually get rid of them or if they just keep them under control.

It can take as many as 6 to 8 weeks to fully cycle a dead tank. However you had live rock. I would expect it to be much quicker. But even with like rock three four days is expecting to much. But with the aptasia issue. You may have to start over :(

How long has your tank been cycling I use BRS. Rodi and it’s been perfect But I am sure others here are much more equipped to help with your issue.
