Welcome back to the forum!! The live sand is now dead sand which does not mean you can't use it, you just need some live sand or rock from a fellow reefer to seed it. It might also need a rinse depending on where the bag was and how "open" the bag was. Are you going to go ahead with the 10g?
I don not need to anger the reef gods with posting pics right away. I will let the stuff settle in and then get some pics. Also, there was one vendor who is shipping stuff back to dnov99 and myself so there is actually more coming.
I don't have any pics to share from the show as it was just too much to take in but here is the styro container we brought and the frags being acclimated:
We stuck out in the regular raffles and did not stay down for today's mega raffles. Our flight was too early but I will take the ai. I felt like I was channeling you Anthony.

If you are PADI certified you can go down to the Coral Restoration Fund and help do the exact same thing. Granted it is mostly stag corals in Florida and not amazing SPS in Fiji, but still could be pretty fun.
Gotcha, I think you should be fine there. Acclimating SPS is more for LEDs, with starting them on the bottom and moving them up. With the T5s you should be able to place the coral pretty much exactly where you want it and go from there.
I am a fellow wrasse head so I understand.
As far as the anthias go: Lyretail are good, also check out Carberryi Anthias, and bartletts as well. A lot of people on RC are big fans of the Carberryi as they seem to be hardy and relatively cheap.
The blenny should do great in your tank

One of the biggest complaints of the early led fixtures was that they only had the blue and white LEDs and certain colors lost their pop. I know some people supplemented with t5s just to get that color back. Luckily the led companies listened and started releasing new colors. If you want orange...
Maybe because I am tired, but I can't figure out your acronyms. Can you elaborate what colors you have and the kelvin or nm? What fish, corals are in your tank and what colors are you looking to get to "pop".
Also quick update, we spent about 2 hours cleaning out the frag tank last night, it needed it. We have been having problems with our ca reactor which lead to swinging alk which leads to problems. We have stabalized things and plan on having a whole lot of fun at MACNA. I will update when we...
