Nikon D3100 with stock lens. I set it to "motion" mode in the multiple pic mode (hold down the shutter, it snaps off a bunch of quick photos) and just snap away. Again, I took 300 pics to get 14 "good" ones. I have been thinking of getting a macro lens, but I always pic something else...
Yeah it was about time. I think everyone is in summer mode when our tanks take a back seat to out door activities and we have been the same. I got some rare motivation and snapped off almost 300 pictures and those were my favorites so there they are.
Generally in a tank that size the return pump is all you need. The only powerhead that would really fit in there without taking up the whole tank is an mp10 which would probably be overkill and not within reason.
A clip on par38 bulb would probably be plenty and are nice looking...

If you can borrow an aipstaisa zapper, they are really good at killing mushrooms as well. Don't buy one as they are a bit over priced, but they will work for mushrooms.
Depending on how fine you want your sand, you have options. We use Carib Sea live sand fiji pink and it looks nice but does not really get kicked up unless you aim a powerhead at it. This is with an mp60 running right now.
The goal with dosing is to keep your levels steady. It would actually be better for your tank as a whole to dose smaller amounts daily then to do it during a water change. Your corals might not have much of a demand now, but they will grow and you will add so they will eventually. It is good...
