Corner tanks are difficult for sumps and lights but if you have one or really like them then they are certainly an option.
I think a retro fit T5 will work well as you could have different length bulbs in the hood if you are going to get one. I think MH vs T5 is a matter of preference. Don't...
Phyl gave you a great answer. Stable enviromnent is as important as anything I think. My RBTA under 8X54W T5 moved to bottom of the tank. I am sure it has grown since I got it.
My RBTA moved from bottom front, to upper middle, back to bottom front then finally decided to sit in the bottom in the back in front of the wavemaker in the sand on the bottom. Go figure.
If the sailfin is smaller I say keep it. The 120 is sort of the minimum but I have a decent size naso and a hippo in mine and they are happy and not stressed.
From what I read the general rule of thumb is a 55 gallon or less should be completely fine. Beyond that you should research how the floors are and whatnot....I say go for it.
No problem, it is good that you know them to a degree. I would still suggest letting your tank stabilize and at the same time get to know it.
Mushrooms are very closely related to anemones for what it is worth.
I waited about 10 months before I added a RBTA. Should wait longer for that because you want a very stable environment. That being said they roam around and you have to be ready for it. They are cool...of course mine is in the back of the tank now, but so long as it is happy fine with me.

Here is the stupid thing you guys know way more then me and I have a tank. ::) Thanks very much for sharing the information with us even when you don't have an active tank.
Biodiversity is a very good idea.
I don't know exactly the Kent sponge thing. But I will take a swing at this one.
A reactor is a container(there are some good DYI examples here on NJRC)that acts as a place for for some reaction to take place....water flows through some medium that either takes...
I am saying they have an almost entirely different diet.
Sand sifting sea stars eat Brittle Starfish, Worms, Snails, Sea Cucumbers, Amphipods, Spaghetti Worms, Copepods, and Tube Worms along with some other stuff like detritus.
While Sea Cucumbers eat detritus and bacteria which it gets from...
That sounds like a lot of fish, or at least if you add the additional fish it would be in a 120, maybe I am wrong.
I always say a harliquin tusk but that is my personal FOWLR dream fish.
Regular water changes, skimmer, carbon, phosban, rinsing fish food, and avoid overfeeding. Also make sure you have enough live rock and perhaps live sand.
