What tank has a nice footprint?

When we do the Premium Aquatics group buy (for members only) - there's a very good discount involved...you could ask on the group buy forum. I'm not sure if I can post it here on the public forum. actually - I was a big marine depot fan - mainly because of the free shipping and also I think...

What tank has a nice footprint?

This is glass cages....do a google search and see what kind of opinions people have of them. In this hobby - it is true you tend to "get what you pay for" - but when listing items for a 120 - one can go all out - or one can go ultra cheap - or one can find some kind of middle ground. On the...

    Trigger Safe Cleanup Crew??

what kind of brittle starfish? Is it the green kind? Ophiarachna incrassata is the only one to wary of. As for the trigger - you have to either kept it well fed and *maybe* it won't bother others...but I am unaware of any safe crews. They generally don't eat the magfloats though. ;) Seriously...

    My Oceanic Tech 120

Re: My Oceanic Tech 120 and a request for input. congratulations on the new tank! Ya know - I kinda kick myself a little bit for getting the AGA 120 from Wil last fall. I didn't even know (stupid me) that Oceanic made a 120 in their tech series. I'll just have to make do dealing with the dual...

What tank has a nice footprint?

I second the 120...that is what I went with from the 55. It "sounds" a lot bigger, but when you see it - you'll say to yourself - it's the same thing as the 55! ...and lengthwise you'd be correct - except it's twice as deep. So basically if you can find 48" for your 55 gallon tank in the new...

    Fish Pedicure

Tracy Roberts, 33, of Rockville, Md. tests to see if the fish will be interested in her hand as well, as her toes are nibbled on by a type of carp called garra rufa, or doctor fish, during a fish pedicure treatment at Yvonne Hair and Nails salon in Alexandria, Va. on Thursday July 17, 2008...

New 90 gallon bow (well, new to me)

I know you're moving the heater - but another reason (if you need) is in case the anemone decides to walk and attach to the heater. if the heater kicks on, it means certain burn...possible infection/death later. You could cover the heater with pvc - Same goes for the pumps - will need some kind...

Are Pom Pom Crabs reef safe?

too small to be of any danger. No experience with them but in my opinion - I'd be more concerned about the "pom poms" dying (or getting lost when it molts) and then you would just have a crab (minus pom poms). Then again - if you have like a 3 gallon display - I would think you don't have much...

    Jimroth's Big Ol' Tank

Jim - from your thread, (and maybe I misread or assume) - but it appears that Dr. Mac's LR was nicely encrusted and in the size you wanted. What about the waltsmith? It looked great but perhaps not in the sizes you wanted?
