    Harlequin shrimp compatibility

That's really cool. I'm not too sure of the likelihood of them hatching, but the article I linked had a good amount of info on breeding them.

    Harlequin shrimp compatibility

I think you should be fine with those shrimp. All 3 are pretty timid shrimp. Now if you had a pistol or coral banded it would be a different story. This is a great article about harlequins. http://www.chucksaddiction.com/harlequinshrimp.html

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

The oolite is going to be finer than the Fiji. I personally like the Fiji and have used it a number of times. In my new build 57 rimless (36x18) I used 40lbs and have about 1 3/4" sand bed.

Like you said it depends on how deep you want to go. If the tank is a standard 150 (72"x18") I would say between 50-60lbs per inch of depth. It will also depend on the sand you get. The finer the sand the more you're going to need.

    Marks...Back to the Future..Reef Aquarium

That's a great step forward. I wouldn't be worried with 90psi. The to membrane is actually more efficient at higher pressure. If you were at 105psi + I would turn it down.

It allows air into the drain pipe so that you have a constant flow and not a surge through the overflow. It serves the same purpose as the hole on the top of a durso.

The flex PVC uses the same glue and fittings and rigid PVC. Make a few calls to some pool supply places and you should be able to find it. I know it may be far but I'm almost positive W.W. Adcock in Lakewood has it.

I would say (just from experience with these pumps) it's either going to be the 55 or the 70. If I remember correctly from looking at their system mike and nikki run 55's. Also for plumbing from basement to upstairs I would highly recommend looking into flex PVC. It makes things much easier...

Those blueline pumps move a lot of water. At my bosses house I have the 100 running a 90g corner and a 110g half round on the second floor of the house from the basement and the pump is throttled back a bit. Another setup is a blueline 70 running a 180 in the basement, carbon reactor, gfo...

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Dan's UPGRADE 150G +1. As long as the glue isn't clumpy. A little trick for storing PVC glue is to store the can upside down. Make sure the cap is on tight, the glue stays much longer this way.
