Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Thanks! Unfortunately its not held together too well. Have to find a solid way of securing it without looking secured, if you get what I mean. This is the first time I've done anything with branch and I'm thinking I may use a bit of it in the next tank.
Agree with the detritus. As bare bottom...
Few bits of coral in now.
Fish - clown, generic damsel, saddle puffer (to be moved up with growth).
Just went a bit silly and added river rock as substrate today.
Thought it might look good with the style of tank and would be easy to clean.
Will do an occasional report on how well it works out...
Oh, no idea. Unsure if the idea I have will work. If it doesn't (which I wont know for a few weeks) and Bob's reactor isn't suitable for you, drop me a line, we can trade. If my eperiment does work, and you're not interested in Bob's, I'll drop a line to him. All groovie. Thanks for the info :)
Bob, thanks much.
I'm going to take the reactor I have now and experiment a bit. If it works out, I'll definitely be interested in another one (for the tank to be bought next weekend).
I plan on having the wife hypnotized so she will believe the new tank has been there all along.
Woohoo! Rread and I had an order set up, when they realized we were NJRC they made a generous offer to extend our order to a group buy with considerable discounts and free shipping...

Hubcap,
Thanks for the link. I did have a member reach out to me and picked up a reactor this weekend in trade for a nice frag.
Appreciate the help. It stuff like this that makes this place IMHO.
More water. It does look like your sump can handle a bit more.
Maybe decrease pump speed?
Once all looks good at minimal level, shut off power to ensure no sump overflow.
I'd also think about extending that downpipe into the sump to prevent splash and salt creep, just make sure you put some kind...
Hey all,
Just broke down a small frag tank as it was taking up needed desk space.
It about 2' x 8", bout 7g, has a frag rack capable of holding 45 frags, pump, etc.
Have a light as well if needed.
Was going to sell it all off but figured I'd volunteer it to the club for meets.
We can display...
Agreed with Eric, if that wrasse doesn't jump he's going to scare the others into jumping as some point.
I'd throw some pulsing xenia on the rockwork. Eventually it'll grow out (I have a 10g 'Hypnotank' packed) and cover all the rockwork. My kids love watching it.
