Even though my wife does our aquascaping, I will try and share some tips.
1. Understand the size of your tank and where any limitation will be. Remember you have to clean the glass and give yourself room accordingly.
2. Keep flow and dead spots in mind. Where are your powerheads and returns...
One of the first corals I ever bought for my 12g was a single head of dendro back in roughly december of 2008. It survived a tank crash where the temp of the tank dropped to around 55 degrees. It has always been one of my favorites.
Here is what it looked like around when I bought it...
Turn all the pumps off and feed with a long skinny baster. Then I play defense for a while with the baster. I also squirt some away from the scolies to distract the fish and shrimp
Whenever you want, if you got the band saw I got the frag. They grow pretty well for so anytime you want to come over and grab a frag, just drop me a line.
We have had that big scoly for maybe 2 months. It actually has three mouths on it and it will probably split into two down the road which would be cool. I target feed them with Fauna Marin LPS pellets every few weeks or so during water changes. They really go nuts for that food which is...

Lighting: You are going to need another unit, one radion is not going to cover 4 feet of space. It is really up to you what you want to get but realize if you don't get another radion, the tank could look dramatically different where the two different lights hit. You could probably play with...
