Mine went everywhere when it was smaller. Now is spends more time on the sand. Though it is not the size of the monster that Mike has. They are excellent IMO. And yes they vanish on occasion.
I would remove all the media if you can. I liked having a refugium in my nano but it was only 24 G vs your 65 G. If you can figure a way to run a light in the back chamber with cheato as a refugium that is great. I would sort of assume that you could run the tank as a "nano", even though it...
Secretive Wrasse is supposed to be a pretty good fish to get rid of them.
Here is a link.

I think you should be OK too. I would do 10 gallons ish should be good. If you have bio balls in that back chamber you might be generating something? Could it be your test kit is crappy? Looks good though that is some nice rock you added. ;)

OGII had a super great deal. Usually they are 30 bucks for CB. They are pretty tiny but in the QT I am fattening them up ;D. They were eating in the tank have to say I was pretty impressed with the kid there as he fed them without me asking and steered me...
The sohal is a pretty bad choice no other way to say it. It is too big and too aggressive. In a 72G the tang police will be out in force. With the smaller ones you would be better off. So my suggestion is to try to sell the sohal or if you are unwilling to do that then don't put the hippo back...

Very nice Baxter...your right it is a really good fish. Guess the colors are not bright enough. It was one of the fish on my tang list when I got my fish. I got a pair of the Bangaii at $10 bucks too unbelievable for CB fish. Eating well, like little pigs...
Yes I just suggested using the filterbag you have there already. You can do whatever you like in this case I don't really think there is a huge difference. The one thing is you want to make sure you clean that filterbag really regularly.

For sure equipement can be frustrating. From a burned out bulb to cracked tanks this hobby throws all sorts of curve balls at us.
You might be able to get the bulbs a bit cheaper, you don't need the max quality bulbs at this point.
tfjpetcenter.com sells the sunlight brand and they have some 48in bulbs for 16-17 bucks?

During our next group buy you could get that fixture for 204....not cheap but better.
Sunlight makes a cheaper version of 24 inch 4 bulb light...
How about this one.

Zero bells and whistles but price is right.
The list that vangvace is a great link. 101 Saltwater Fishes also has some various combinations of fish that isn't to bad.
I know you didn't want to change your lights but my suggestion sort of is that T5 lights will be a lot cooler(temp wise) then CP. That is good for little kids less likely...
Not likely to happen as some MOD will just delete edit your post ;D
Yes the Octopus extreme also is a great deal via the group buy. Pays for the membership in one purchase.
