Sump is still active on my 75g and will be until I can finish my cabinet furniture to switch over to the 120G. I now need to make the 40b I just got into a sump as well... so the completion seems to be getting further away instead of sooner. :o

Matt, do they have little feathers sticking out of them or do they just have a stringy spider web stuff coming out of the tube? You can stir up the sand near them to get some detritis in the water to see either way. If you have feather looking things coming out, they're probably spirorbid...
