Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Cancer fighting.
Gold does not have a special propensity to attach to cells (although for Mr. T maybe it did...yeah I watched the A team and enjoyed it...). Even if gold somehow could be INJECTED into the bloodstream, I'd be amazed to know how one can tell the difference between gold attached...
wait - if you don't have a fug/sump combo - why is there light in the sump? Is it filtering down from your display? Trying to understand why there is light.
To me if you had no plans for growing macro down there - I'd just eliminate the light into the sump.
BTW the water tests out "good"...
Here's another....this one I think is close to south jersey...though unfortunately you might be second in line. Dunno what species - but it's tiny.

I recall there to be a fourth book and also a prequel. Robert Jordan's long-winded wheel of time series is also interesting. I actually liked Tolkien's Hobbit a lot - it had much more depth on the dwarves and helped set the stage for the trilogy and the ring and of course that crazy guy...
Off topic I know, while it's rare for a hurricane of any strength to head up this way, I recall one that totally obliterated OC, MD. There was definitely a "heyday" to the place- but just dunno how it's been since then. Sounds like not much has happened. Did you have any crabs? That was the best...
Hmmm - are you saying the tiny box for the HOB or are you talking about the RR big black thing in the tank?
For the former, I think a rock that high up would get too much light...plus you couldn't fit more than a small piece in that box.
For the latter - I'd be concerned about trapping...
thanks....and don't think i got the leafy on one shot...with no flash it took quite a few....
No comments on the green serpent stars eh? Well I'm pretty sure it's incrassata. With that many unless they were overfeeding the tank, I wouldn't be surprised if a bangai or anthia disappeared at night.
nice! I tried xenia and it never thrived...not saying i'm an expert here in saltwater reefkeeping - but in some ways, am envious of others success with it.
If there are corals you want to save, why not frag them off the rock and then cure/bake the rocks? the purple corraline will come back and you'll rid yourself the issue of the bad hitchers.
I understand that LIRA, the reef club on long island has some benefits with the owner/manager of that place. As in adjusted prices and behind the scenes tours...not sure how we can leverage that but I recall reading about it on the lira forum in RC.
I like our garmin 2620 (discontinued) but it seems to route us via the major highways even though a local road would be just as good. It always thinks route 1 to Aquatic Obsessions is ideal...yeah right.
There were at least two instances where it told me to "turn here" and I ended up in a...
So...before I get compared with Kathainbowen's most excellent post - let me first preface this with a disclaimer - I do not have great photos or witty captions. =)
Shedd aquarium was built in the 1920s after John G. Shedd donated $3million buckaroos.
It did have the largest indoor aquarium (5...
when i tried that method all I ever caught were my cleaner or peppermint shrimp. The nassarius snails and serpent star also came a running...
if it's possible, I'd use a red piece of paper, cover it on a flashlight, grab some popcorn and watch your tank at night. Figure out which rock it is...
