80/20 is certainly another option. I've seen both stands and canopies made of 80/20. I see no reason why it can't be used to make hanging brackets.

You could use any number of shelf brackets attached to the wall, and hang the fixture off of those. I'm assuming you don't have a canopy.

I’m old school and still like the Reefkeeper 2. Comes with eight controllable outlets, pH and temperature probes and you typically can pick them up used for 100 or less. And the best part is that you don’t need a degree in programming to set it up….a controller for idiots!
