Sorry to hear about it. I guess the sand bed was the cuplrit? That is the trickiest concept...can you transfer or not a particular sandbed??? Just change your water daily and it should all settle down pretty quick. On a positive note nice new fish.

I know it has fake Mangroves but has anyone seen the corner tank at Jenkinsons? Or more to the point has anyone seen a real version of their fake one? I would like to do something like it at some point. For those have not been their it is I think a 50G corner tank with no top and the mangroves...

Thanks for the input, the angel has worked well so far. I am pretty happy with the mix of fish at the momment. I am looking forward to getting a bigger reef tank in the hopefully near future but my plan is to still keep this tank. It is a has been a very good learning tool and fun in it's own...

Well I have not updated in forever. Here is a pic of my angel from our group buy. Very interesting fish constantly picking at this and that (sometimes something she shouldn't). I have had great growth with some of my corals. My flower anemone not so much ( think the angel my be the cause )...

Excellent thread .... check out Catalina Aquarium. 12xT5 so you really get some extra light plus it is programable like the LED lights. Couple people have the 8XT5 from them or the ebay seller. I have not found anyone who has the 12XT5 though. It I believe will be my choice when I go to a tank...

What price did you see for the 150?

It is a really great shape ... sorry I didn't get the hight on it but I would guess that it was around 29 inches. I am not sure if it would block the front door to my house, or just make you go around it as you come in ;). The 150 would be nice too as 3x3 would enable the use of shorter lights...

I know some guys have their standard T5 lights and are pretty happy with it but this one with the controls built in is pretty interesting.

I was in Trop last weekend getting my water and I watched them unpack the new 200 gallon tank. It is 4FT wide by 3FT deep, the stand is very nice with doors on the ends that lift out so you can access under the stand from the ends like the Tech tanks. There is also a 3x3 FT cube that is 150...

Coloration might be in your favor too. I know it can work the other way if you put in two different fish that look alike they can go at one another. That is a good sized tank. If they are a pair I am sure you can find some to take them off your hands ;).

Could be true...I never have been so lucky though. Do you know off the top of your head what they will give a discount on for the club? I have had one of their shoppers cards and it seems almost worthless and I have been going there forever(or since I moved to NJ)
