Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Have you tried little plastic army guys? Setup a perimeter with some barbed wire and let them guard the corals. I tried a timeout corner with a little stool and dunce cap, but he simply ate the dunce cap.
I got six heads of Captain America Palys that go for $90 a piece from Tyree and you have to wait for $200. I have just found it amazing that prices on almost all new corals/fish come down over time but not on the chalices. I even saw a poor mans my miami chalice frag on another site for like...
I bought some coral from him at MACNA and it was actually a great deal, the price of this chalice was set after several ebay auctions went for $1500 to $2000 an eye.
I was following this on ebay and now it is online. A fool and his money is soon parted.

I have a JBJ 12 gallon tank and love it. JBJ is not a small company and makes quality products. Just be careful with that sized nano they seem to have an issue where they crack along the curved glass. Do a quick search and decide if you are still interested.
If the tank really hasn't been setup that long, you should not have any problem taking them out. It is always good to do anything in your tank slowly anyway.
PC bulbs are just the bulbs you have, I think running the fan when bulbs are on is always a good idea, will lengthen the life of your...
Keep an eye on him, do a water change and add some carbon which will help with your water quality. We had an anem walk around our 20g and settle on a heater which nuked it. I know the feeling. I know in this hobby I have yelled stupid fish/anem many a times at the tanks and for some reason they...
For PC bulbs it is really better to have the fan running when either bulb is on. I don't think you will have enough light for an anem with simple PC bulbs. Did you pull everything out of the back of the chambers? Those bio balls and ceramic things are worthless and become detritus traps which...
Read about this on another site. Apperently you upload all your tank info and it helps keep track of your tank and keep it healthy. You can even input into a controller. I am sure some of you reef geeks will enjoy this.

Damsels used to be the way to cycle the tank because of how hardy they were. They were one of the few fish that could survive a cycle and if not they were a cheap fish. Now you don't need damsels to cycle and if you keep them they can be aggressive little guys.
Just do some research on the...
Sorry I did not get back to you, www.tropiquarium.com is there website for address directions. BTAs where I think 60 but they have a 25% off sale on all livestock, corals and live rock. They have really nice stuff in right now, don't know if sale is going on might be worth a phone call and a...
I guess you can say I use a modified two part with brightwell elemental and brightwell alk 9.3. They were recommended to me by a fellow reefer who had amazing growth. So far so good, and we have some good growth in our sps and some color has come back to other frags. The good thing about...
Don't know where you are located but Tropiquarium had beautiful GBTA in this week. I was this close to pulling mine out and buying a new one. They had some nice striped ones with pink tips and ones that look paint splattered.
