Holy cow that is a lot of stuff in a tiny tank. We have both thought about putting a tank in the office but decided the mess and extra water for water changes was not worth it. Just something to think about.

We just started mixing our own saltwater last week and we did 24 hours with a pump, glad to know we were on the right track.

If you go look at the Nanos section under Her 20g you will see our 20g high. We run a 4x24 T5 system on that tank and could not be happier. We have some SPS high up and LPS and zoas all over the tank. When we lost our AC for a week, we lost nothing in the 20g. We had one head of a candy cane...

We have had our air conditioning running 24/7 for the past two months. When the breaker blew before that, we had bad heat issues and lost a bunch of corals and inverts. I am also waiting for the temp to drop just to get some fresh air in the apartment.

With our 30g with a MH fixture, it takes a lot of trial and error to get the temp just right. You have to figure out how long you can run the bulbs without spiking the temp. Also, with your new controller, you should be able to hook up the fans and lights to kick on or off if there is a temp spike.

Congrats!!! This is easy though, for the shower just request fish tank related gifts. I am sure AO or OGII would allow you to register there. :)
