Any updates on how the fan mod is working?

Love the pistol shrimp & goby pair, the fiancee and I succumbed to temptation about two months ago and purchased a pistol shirmp & goby pair that is currenly living in our 30G. Do you have crushed coral in the tank or is what I see in the photos just rubble and shells for your pistol shrimp?

Unfortunately the fiancee and I are not very good do it yourselfers... buying the trap was probably a lot cheaper than cutting ourselves with a razorblade would have been. Unfortunately I don't think the gobies or the longnosed hawk are going to catch and eat the mantis, but we'll keep you...

The skimmers for nanos at this point are pretty bad. There are a few good ones and a whole lot of bad ones and you will spend a lot of money trying to figure that out. I do weekly water changes which keep the water clean.

I was going through the thread and did not see what kind of lights you were running on there, which will effect if you can keep an anem or not. You should be fine, but you might want to wait until you get the tank under control before you add one. The true art comes not from getting your water...

I threw the thing out a few days ago. I had it in a seperate container for a few days and it started dropping things that looked like eggs to me. This scared me as I do not want to lose all of my frags.

We have a 30 cube, 20 high and 12g JBJ, it all depends on what you want to keep inside them.
