Im running a BM Nac 3.5. The epoxy is the 2 part that you knead together. I use it for coral placement and rock work. I used a pretty good amount in my 20H probably the same size as a small superball. Ive used it in small amount in my 44gal with no effect. Skimmer seemed to be fine this morning...

Thanks guys. I've used it the past in tiny amounts to no effect but yesterday I used a bit more and it was going crazy all day. I finally shut down the skimmer for over night so we will see.

I used a bit of 2 part reef epoxy eariler today and since then Everytime I turn the skimmer back on even on lowest setting it overflows very fast. How long does it take till the effects of the epoxy wear off. Thanks in advance John

They are indeed gone. I checked again ths morning. No polyps. A few of the branches have large areas missing. Im actually gonna try another one cause I do indeed like them, but I'll just wait a few weeks before I add another.

Yeah, the two in my other tank are model citizens. An hour later and the bird has half polyps extended. Some branches are bare, nothing.

I have a new found hatred for these f'n things. I have 2 in my 44 corner that i hardly see. When I do they are hard at work on the algea. So I picked up one for my nano. Came home today and found him mounted atop my ORA Birdsnest and half of the poylps, GONE. Needless to say he is also gone...

Good to hear. Glad you like them. Actually all those store are at least 45 min drive for me. I pretty much go out of my way to visit them. As far as "addictive", it is annd you'll be back to buy more soon i'm sure. Good luck

if your looking for fish, C.C. is not the place to go. They do have a few, not much though. Definatly hit ultimate reefs and tropiquarium though. Andover is up north right? Make a day of it and pass by Aquatic obsessions, and mabye Ocean Gallery II on the way back. Both have pretty good selections.

Where are you coming from? Within 30 min or so of both places is both aquatic obsessions and captivating corals. Both worth the visit.

Those two and a clown goby that went in 3 days after. He only hangs on the rocks in a different area of tank

So almost a week ago I pick these guys up at Petco I employee there stated they had them there for about 3 weeks and that they were eating great. Both looked fat and happy when I got them. Since then the smaller of the two pretty much stays on the side of my DT kind of hidden by thge rocks...
